This in-person workshop series, open to faculty and the U of A community, aims to support SoTL project design at our institution, particularly through proposals for CUES Distinguished Fellowships and the CUES Spanning Boundaries Challenge.

This hybrid event will provide information about the 2026 CUES Spanning Boundaries Challenge on Land, Heritage, and Place Attunement across disciplines.

Presenters will describe and answer questions about the competition, and discuss consensus guidance that emerged from the 2025 CUES MECha Workshop on Advancing the Scholarship of Culturally Responsive Teaching and Learning.
